Carbon emissions has been a global environmental problem for a long time. Usually when the name is mentioned almost everyone looks up to politicians and big industrial companies that use fossil fuel as the only source of energy. But that is not all of it. Most of our individual activities in the use of energy leaves a carbon footprint on the environment. Örebro is one of the cities in Sweden that uses biogas as a source of energy for some commercial buses and other private users. In this report we look at how carbon emissions could be reduced and the impact of biogas on the city of Örebro.
