Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Finland have send a congratulatory message to Ghanaians, as the nation marks 60 years of independence. In a statement signed by the secretary, NDC Finland urged Ghanaians both home and abroad to contribute to the growth and development of Ghana.

NDC Finland wishes all Ghanaians a happy 60th National Independence Anniversary Celebration. The Independence celebration marks a memorable fight that our leaders fought sixty years ago to freeing the future of all Ghanaians to the land of Freedom, of good governance and independence.
It is a great National day that memorably calls for the duty for every Ghanaian across the globe to contribute to the fight for the quest of establishing a freedom country full of growth, development and peaceful life. It is a national day that must prompt all citizens that, we have only Ghana that belongs to every Ghanaian. It calls for duty to uphold the national heritage of our motherland and defend it for the betterment of the future generations and our motherland Ghana.
It is a time for national attitudinal change that citizens must instill in their day-to-day work as we all seek to build a great nation for ourselves.
