Burial of perished Ghanaian family in Finland to be held in February

The burial and final funeral rights of the Ghanaian family who perished in a fire outbreak in Helsinki, Finland will be held on February 4, 2017. The tragic death of Nana Ago and her 3 children occurred on the 9th of December 2016, while the widower, Kwame Atta Owusu was at work.

The funeral is being organised by Ghana Union Finland (GUF) on behalf of the bereaved family. The president of GUF, Emmanuel Mensah Abrampah and the Executives of GUF are appealing to all Ghanaians and other nationals who are touched by story of the deceased, to support the bereaved family in this difficult times as they pay their last respect to their departed family.

GUF is encouraging people of all nationalities living in Finland and in other countries to donate any amount of money as a support for the family to arrange a befitting burial and funeral for Nana Ago and her 3 children.
