Samuel Anini Junior, Finland U-15 national player, scores his first international goal against Slovakia on Thursday 27 April. He was part of the first team and scored the equalizer in the later part of the first half, helping Finland to win by 2 goals to 1 at the end of the game. He was substituted in the second half due to an injury.
The match was played in Eerikkilä sports center in Finland on both 25 and 27 April, and Finland was victorious in both games. In the first match, Finland won by a lone goal through a penalty kick 15 minutes into the game. Speaking to our correspondent, Ebenezer Bright Doku after the first match, Junior said he expected the Slovakians to come out stronger than they did because of their stature.
Junior has received strong support from the Ghanaian community in Finland with some of them joining the family to witness the match, while others followed the game through an online streaming.
